AHERA asbestos survey

In Oregon, residential buildings constructed before Jan. 1, 2004 and all commercial buildings, regardless of construction date, must have an asbestos survey conducted by an accredited inspector prior to any demolition or renovation activities. We can send our Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Certified Building Inspector out to your site to conduct an official asbestos survey.

What we’ll do:

• Identify possible asbestos containing materials (ACM) throughout your project area

• Safely collect samples of the possible asbestos containing material following AHERA guidelines

• Send the samples to a certified testing lab

• Create a thorough AHERA asbestos report that can be shared with contractors and meets the qualifications of OEQ and other governmental agencies
